we agreed at the outset of 2004 - our 175 anniversary year - that we would celebrate by raising funds for charity and decided to support the prince's trust, scotland.

Everyone in the firm contributed and we raised a total of £30,000 in the course of the year. Fundraising activities ranged from climbing the largest mountain in Argentina to creating a Morton Fraser cookbook, and many other enterprising ideas. Our main fundraising event of the year was our McGonagall dinner which itself raised a total of £22,000 and was a great deal of fun! We continue to support The Prince's Trust, Scotland, and our chief executive, Linda Urquhart, is a member of the Lothian and Borders Volunteer Board.
