The RGA Trust

Roderick Alexander

Many of our clients and contacts will have known Roderick Alexander, one of our partners, who died in August 2008. Roderick joined Morton Fraser in 2002 and acted as lead Commercial Property Partner for a number of the firm's major clients. He was a very popular member of the team who always took time to support and encourage more junior members, and who made a valuable contribution to the firm through his extensive experience and insight. Beyond client work, Roderick also recognised the importance and value of continuing education. Roderick's family had already suffered a sudden loss on the death of his daughter, Ghislaine, in 2007, at the age of 15.

The RGA Family Trust has been established in memory of Roderick Alexander and his daughter, Ghislaine by Jennifer, Kathryn and Mhairi Alexander, Roderick's wife and daughters.

The Trust aims to help children and young people under the age of 25 who are vulnerable, ill, suffering from any form of physical or mental disability, or are socially, financially or otherwise disadvantaged. It also exists to assist the research, alleviation and support of those suffering from neurological conditions, as well as their families.

Both Roderick and Ghislaine are greatly missed and it is hoped that the RGA Family Trust will keep both their legacies alive for years to come.

If you would like to make a donation to the Trust, please send a cheque to our Edinburgh offices at Quartermile Two, 2 Lister Square made payable to Morton Fraser. If you wish, you may complete the Gift Aid Declaration form below. Thank you for your support.
