New Maternity Pay / Sick Pay Rates
The Department for Work and Pensions have announced the proposed rates for statutory sick pay and statutory maternity, paternity and adoption pay for 2011. It is anticipated that these new rates will apply from 11 April 2011.
- Statutory Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Pay, and Maternity Allowance - £128.73 (currrently £124.88)
- Statutory Sick Pay - £81.60 (currently £79.15)
As you may know the Employment Tribunal award limits are reviewed around this time of year effective from February 2011. I would expect to receive details of these before Christmas and will blog on them once I have the relevant information.
