Dream Job

I saw that the Metro reported the other day (Top Gear Presenter Voted Mens Dream Job) on a poll carried out by www.myvouchercodes.co.uk which asked 1,356 men aged over 18 what their dream job with a view to understanding more about UK career preferences.

The results were:-

1. Top Gear presenter (29%)

2. Video games tester (25%)

3. Professional sportsman (24%)

4. Actor (21%)

5. Formula 1 driver (19%)

6. Fireman (17%)

7. Stockbroker (16%)

8. Pilot (14%)

9. Spy (12%)

10. Inventor (11%)

A very specific number one job and slightly surprising although I'm sure it would be good fun,

If you have a spare moment today you might want to do an internet search for top 10 worst jobs. Of the ones that are mentionable (!) the following recur in many of the surveys:-

1. portaloo cleaner

2. miner

3. traffic warden

4. crime scene cleaner

5. dishwasher

6. sewage treatment worker

Of course, one person's dream job is another person's nightmare job and vice versa which is just as well!
