Unfair Dismissal Qualifying Period To Be Increased

Following my recent blogs on this over the past week the announcement we were all expecting has finally been made.

BIS have announced today - (see Department For Business Innovation & Skills) that the qualifying period for raising an unfair dismissal claim will increase from one to two years with effect from 1 April 2012.

I will comment further on this over the next day or so.
