March Employment E-Bulletin

Our March E-Bulletin on current employment law issues is out now and can be accessed here:

March E-Bulletin 2012

The March edition includes a reminder of the April changes to employment law, plus some interesting case law decisions relating to suspending employees and notifying the police, non-renewal of fixed term contracts and redundancy and an important case relating to TUPE and service provision changes. There is also a link to our latest podcast on What To Expect In Employment Law in 2012.

One point which I will blog on shortly is the ability, as of April 2012, for Employment Judges to sit alone when hearing unfair dismissal claims. Slightly controversial in my view and it may not be good news for employers.
