Morton Fraser triumphs at the Law Awards of Scotland 2010

Posted: Friday 17 September 2010

Morton Fraser last night triumphed at the 2010 Law Awards of Scotland winning four of the coveted accolades.  The firm was awarded Employment Law Firm of the Year, Corporate Law Firm of the Year and Private Client Firm of the Year while Partner, Adrian Bell scooped Corporate Lawyer of the Year.

Chief Executive Linda Urquhart said of the success: “We are of course delighted to have received these important awards in recognition of the excellent service we provide to our clients.”

Morton Fraser partners David Hossack, Robin Morton, John Lunn and Adrian Bell collect our 2010 Law Awards.

This is the second time the firm has won both Corporate Firm of the Year and Corporate Lawyer of the year, having done so in 2008 and reaffirms their place as a key player in advising business.  This is also the second award for the firm’s Private Client team having taken home the 2010 Legal Award in March.  The firm’s Employment Team has also had a significant year launching an employment app for the iPhone.

The awards recognise and reward the very best legal firms and celebrate those who have shown outstanding performance in their field. The results were announced at a gala awards ceremony last night at the Hilton in Glasgow.
