Morton Fraser appointed to the Scottish Government legal services panel

Posted: Thursday 7 July 2011

Morton Fraser is delighted to have won a place on the panel to provide legal services to the Scottish Government over the next four years.  We have a place on the framework agreement across each of the four legal subject areas for which we applied, complementing the work of the Scottish Government Legal Directorate (SGLD), which also manages the outsourcing of legal work. The agreement will also be used, through the Office of the Advocate General, to source advice on Scots law for UK Government departments, agencies and NDPBs.

The categories of work where we have been appointed are:-

  • Contract, commercial and corporate
  • Debt recovery
  • Litigation, inquiries and employment
  • Property

You can sign up to our e-bulletins on these and other aspects of the law here.
