Ross Caldwell

Partner
Edinburgh Office
Ross Caldwell is a partner in our Banking & Finance team, based in our Edinburgh office.

Prior to joining Morton Fraser in May 2017, Ross practised as a partner in the City of London for ten years, latterly as a partner with international law firm Taylor Wessing LLP.

Ross is qualified to practice under both English law and Scots law and frequently acts on UK cross-border and international debt finance transactions.

He also heads-up our Your Scots Counsel firm-wide initiative, which seeks to deepen and strengthen our relationships with law firms across the world which may need Scots law advice and assistance on their cross-border transaction and litigation matters. With Morton Fraser, such law firms can engage with a legal practice in Scotland which understands the challenges they face, the pressures they're under and the commercial factors which need to be considered in terms of their own business interests.

In addition, Ross leads our engagement with the Mindful Business Charter.  Morton Fraser is proud to be one of the first two Scottish law firms to become a signatory to the Mindful Business Charter and Ross is equally proud to lead this crucial and important initiative across our firm.
