Real Estate, Procurement & State Aid

Hugh is a member of our real estate team. He advises on the acquisition and disposal of heritable and leasehold interests, including investments and portfolios.

He also acts for landlords and tenants in new leases for all types of property, particularly office, retail and leisure property. The majority of Hugh's practice involves public sector work with clients such as the Scottish Government and UK departments and also Ministry of Defence. 

His team has dealt with large volumes of public sector work over recent years including many large development projects and they have also acted on some of the most significant recent office lettings in Scotland, including a 50,000 square foot pre-let for the Scottish Government.

Hugh completed the first housing PFI in the UK and the most recent round of LSVTs.
