Elaine deals in non-contentious construction law, primarily in the drafting, review and negotiation of the full spectrum of construction documentation. She represents parties to the build projects themselves such as developers, contractors and consultants as well as parties providing funding to development projects.
Elaine also has significant experience representing purchasers and tenants as end users. She has been involved in several complex funder and purchaser due diligence exercises for high profile projects and has considerable experience in the review and negotiation of performance and guarantee bond documents for large banking organisations.
Elaine also assists our Planning and Environmental team in respect of contentious and non-contentious planning matters. Having studied planning law as part of her Honours degree at University, she is able to combine this specialist knowledge with her experience in construction law. Our planning and construction teams work closely together because our clients who undertake development work benefit from our being able to provide a seamless service in relation to their legal requirements.
