Fiona is an associate in the Litigation division focusing on general commercial disputes. In particular, she frequently provides advice on fraud and financial crime to government departments, professional service firms and private clients.
Reflecting Fiona’s expertise in dealing with complex litigation, she also has experience of acting in cases with a criminal justice angle. She has recently represented the Scottish Ministers at parole board hearings. She has also obtained a number of antisocial behaviour orders on behalf of a local authority client. Fiona has acted in a number of cases for the Scottish Government’s Civil Recovery Unit including a high profile civil recovery proof under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Fiona also spent time on secondment to the Civil Recovery Unit from April to August 2010.
