Richard is a solicitor in Morton Fraser's Agriculture and Rural team. He is from a farming background and has a strong interest in rural affairs.

 Richard deals mainly with rural property matters, advising landowners and farmers on a wide variety of transactions. He has particular experience in acting for banks in the creation of standard securities over rural properties. He also has experience of crofting law matters, acting for a number of landlords with properties in the crofting counties.

In addition, Richard deals with residential tenancy issues -- an area of law in which he has a particular interest.
