Dorothy heads our private client team, which helps individuals in all personal legal, financial, investment and tax matters, from the purchase or sale of residential property to the protection of assets after death.

She works closely with our other teams who support private clients on family law, employment and litigation matters.

Where appropriate for clients, Dorothy and her team also collaborate with the experts in our corporate and commercial, banking and finance, agriculture and charities teams to provide a joined up service.

Dorothy has tutored in conveyancing for the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh and was an early contributor to the Professional Competence Course run by the WS Society.

She is also responsible for the recruitment and development of our trainee solicitors.
