Kenneth specilaises in rural diversification and is a member of our Agricultural & Rural team, based in our Edinburgh office.
He advises on the purchase and sale of both farms and landed estates (comprising agricultural, crofting, sporting or forestry land), and of standalone commercial woodlands and salmon fishings, including time share arrangements.
He has considerable experience of advising clients, mainly landowners, in connection with the sale or occupation of land for development or diversification and of acting on behalf of both lenders and borrowers/granters of securities in relation to securing borrowings against heritage. He also advises on all aspects of agricultural and residential tenancies.
Kenneth was accredited as a specialist in Agricultural Law by the Law Society of Scotland in 2003 and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
