Divorce Separation Specialist

Fiona is a member of our family law team and is responsible for leading the Family Law Team's activities in the Glasgow office. She is an accredited as a Family Law specialist and acts in divorce, separation, child residence, cohabitation and civil partnership disputes.  

She has represented many wealthy individuals and business professionals.  She utilises her expertise in cases involving complex and valuable asset or  business interests as well as  anti-avoidance measures to prevent disposal of matrimonial assets.Much of her work involves the negotiation, settlement or litigation of complex financial cases, often with an international perspective, tax, pension or trust issues. She has also advised in relation to several overseas post-divorce claims for financial provision.  

As with all of our team members Fiona prioritises client confidentiality and the utmost discretion in relation to our client's matters, recognising that business people need to be assured that their personal relationships be handled discreetly.  Fiona aims to achieve a negotiated settlement and is sensitive to preserving the dignity of separating parties wherever possible.  Some of her cases are however inevitably litigated where necessary.
