Bruce is our Chairman. He is a member of our banking and finance team. He is ranked as one of the top asset finance specialists in the UK and the best lawyer for asset finance in Scotland.

He has specialist expertise in the areas of banking, asset finance, asset based lending/invoice finance, joint venture and international legal work, including the US market (in addition to his UK qualifications, he has a law degree from University of California, Berkeley).

He has experience in cost and tax-efficient deals throughout the UK and abroad - from big ticket work to consumer credit. Bruce is also a member of our Energy & Utlities team.

Bruce’s book Leasing and Hire of Moveables, now in its second edition, is published by Butterworths as part of the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia of the Laws of Scotland. Bruce has also written the Scottish section of Salinger's Law and Practice of Invoice Finance and produced a DVD titled "All you need to know about Asset Finance Law".
