As an associate with the firm, Ewan has over 10 years' experience of representing clients at court, at tribunals and at public inquiries. He became accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law in 2010.
Ewan acts in defender reparation cases for clients in both the private and public sectors. He deals with pre-litigated claims, Sheriff Court and Court of Session actions. His practice includes employer and public liability claims, a range of disease cases including mesothelioma/lung cancer, asthma, carbon monoxide poisoning, deafness and HAVS, wrongful imprisonment claims and road traffic accidents. He has also advised clients in relation to compensation claims for personal injury and death based on allegations of malicious prosecution, harassment at work and failures on the part of roads authorities to discharge their duties with reasonable care.
Ewan also deals with vehicle licensing matters to include appearing for clients at Public Inquiries before the Traffic Commissioner and in negotiations with VOSA
