Michael is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Division. He has considerable expertise, gained both at Morton Fraser and as a Partner at another specialist litigation firm in Edinburgh. He is extremely experienced in both Sheriff Court and Court of Session actions.

Michael practises in both pursuer and defender reparation cases, as well as general litigation, including a large caseload of contractual disputes and debt recovery and bankruptcy. He also deals with all guardianship applications and criminal law matters for the firm, with a particular specialism in Proceeds of Crime and Road Traffic offences.  He now heads up the Legal Expenses Insurance team.

He also acts as Edinburgh agent for many firms outside Edinburgh, in both Court of Session and Sheriff Court cases. Clients value Michael's experience and ability to deal with a wide variety of legal queries.
