Employment Law - Employers

Employment Law Solicitors

We prevent and solve problems

Based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London our team of employment law solicitors know that employment disputes can involve complex issues and cause major upset. Our employment law solicitors can help employers prevent or solve these problems.

Our employment law team is a major player, acting in high profile and complicated cases for a wide range of organisations and individual employees. Our clients include the Ministry of Defence, the Scottish Government and Change Recruitment Group.

Employment law advice

Working with employers our employment law solicitors build a long-term relationship and work as part of your team to prevent disputes, assist with the smooth running of your organisation and help you save money and avoid damage to your reputation.

We advise on issues such as employment contracts, company policies, discipline, redundancy, discrimination, maternity/paternity arrangements and the TUPE regulations.

Unfair Dismissal and discrimination

In contentious issues including those involving unfair dismissal or discrimination claims, we relieve the pressure on you, giving you a range of practical solutions, including workplace mediation. If you go to an Employment Tribunal we use our expert advocacy skills to present your case robustly.

We also offer support in areas not routinely provided by other employment law teams, including expert advice on human resources, immigration and health & safety.

You can contact the employment team by using the contact form at the bottom of this page or you can contact Innes Clark.

 Employment Protection Package

You can now effectively and affordably ensure you get the day to day employment advice you require whilst protecting your organisation against Tribunal claims.

Our package includes an annual health check to ensure your employment documentation is up to date and compliant with the latest legislation. It gives you access to one of our award winning employment lawyers and provides insurance cover against the risk of most Tribunal awards up to £250,000.
