Unfair Dismissal Claims

As an employer, you will inevitably, at some point, face the prospect of having to dismiss an employee. Unfair dismissal awards made by Employment Tribunals can now exceed £80,000. It is therefore essential that the dismissal is for a valid reason and that you follow a fair dismissal process to minimise the risk of an unfair dismissal claim.

Our employment lawyers are highly experienced at guiding employers through the dismissal process and defending employers before Employment Tribunals if an unfair dismissal claim is raised.

For more information on unfair dismissal, check out our unfair dismissal factsheet and Unfair Dismissal - Frequently Asked Questions.
