Civil Partnership Separation

We can explain the difficulties involved, and give personally tailored advice and offer solutions to Civil Partners on the practical, legal and emotional issues around taking the decision to separate from your partner.

Whether you were in a civil partnership or cohabiting, you will quickly be faced with the practicalities of separation. On occasion, it can be difficult to establish whether or not a couple has, in fact, separated.

Our family lawyers are specialists in separation issues and can assist you in the separation process. Many couples prefer to negotiate a Separation  Agreement.

Separation agreement
The Agreement can deal with any matter of importance to you. Our Family Law Team can provide you with professional advice and act on your behalf, to ensure your interests are properly protected.

What next?
What happens following separation is, of course, up to you and your partner.  We will present you with your options and explain each one fully.
