Mediation

Our family law experts can, where appropriate, assist clients with Family Mediation as several members of the family law team are also trained mediators.  As well as being appointed to act as independent mediators in disputes which don’t involve our own clients, we also regularly support our own clients going through the family mediation process.

Often, separating couples are unable to talk to each other effectively and to resolve crucial issues relating to their children or financial affairs in a constructive way, even though they would like to reach an agreement. There are sometimes legal "blocks" getting in the way of agreement. In these situations, our family  lawyers with mediation skills can help clients reach an understanding and find a workable solution for all parties involved.

The Morton Fraser family law team is motivated and trained to find constructive and effective solutions for our clients.

We have a wide client base from many areas of society and business. Our skill and experience attracts a local, national and international client base. Most of our business is derived from personal referral. As we are solution oriented rather than conflict oriented our team's ability to deal effectively with negotiations and mediation outside the courts play a key role in reducing the trauma of separation.
