Collaborative Law Advice

When appropriate, we offer clients the opportunity to use Collaborative law as an alternative method of dispute resolution. The collaborative approach is based on a series of open meetings between collaboratively trained lawyers and the clients.

This sometimes achieves improved control of the process, reduced costs and a "more socially responsible outcome".

The collaborative lawyers provide legal advice and guidance throughout. This process may enable separating couples to come to agreed settlements without having to endure adversarial court proceedings and a court imposed solution. The Collaborative law process is not suitable in all cases and a measure of trust is required on both sides. Several members of our team are collaboratively trained and are experienced experts in assisting you to pursue that option.

We have a wide client base from many areas of society and business. Our skill and experience attracts a local, national and international client base. Most of our business is derived from personal referral. As we are solution oriented rather than conflict oriented our team's ability to deal effectively with negotiations and collaborative law outside the courts play a key role in reducing the trauma of separation.
