Being put at risk of redundancy or being made redundant can be a very difficult time. Our specialist employment lawyers based in Edinburgh and Glasgow can provide you with expert redundancy advice and support at this time so that you have a full understanding of your redundancy situation.

This ensures that you're in the best possible position to challenge your redundancy or, alternatively, to maximise your redundancy package.

Although our employment law solicitors are based in Edinburgh and Glasgow we are able to provide employment advice over the telephone or via a video call throughout the UK.

How we can help you

We'll discuss your situation with you and provide clear advice as to whether your redundancy is open to challenge and whether any payment offered is reasonable. If the decision is taken to ask for a better settlement, we'll use our negotiation skills to get you the best deal possible.

Benefits we bring to you

We've advised on a huge range of redundancies over many years so even if the situation is new to you it won't be new to us. This means that you have the benefit of our experience in considering your options and the best way forward.

We have more Law Society of Scotland accredited employment law specialists than any other team in Scotland. The team is rated by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as one of the best in Scotland.

All of the partners in the Employment Law team are accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as specialists in employment law. The team is rated by both Chambers and Legal 500 as one of the best in Scotland.

With many of our new clients coming to us via referrals the value we can add to the process is recognised by the clients that we have acted for in the past. You can see a selection of the many positive testimonials that we receive from our clients below.

Our approach to fees

As well as providing clear advice we guarantee that we will be transparent on costs.

We understand the importance of providing fee clarity and value for money.  In most cases we can meet with you and provide you with an assessment of your situation, including our view on your options and a recommendation, for a fixed fee.

Where possible, we offer fixed fee packages for any additional work. If we're not able to provide a fixed fee then we'll provide a clear indication of the likely fee based on an agreed scope of work.

Please note that we are not able to provide free advice nor do we work on a no-win, no-fee basis for this sort of advice.
