Tax planning and compliance
Tax is an inevitable part of life and is often relevant at the time of death too. Tax evasion is illegal, but it is perfectly legitimate to try and reduce tax liability by planning within the laws in force at the time. Tax needn’t hurt as much as it might.
The areas we work with most include:
- Tax returns for individuals, dealing with both income tax and capital gains tax.
- Tax returns for Trusts, both ongoing, at creation and on wind up.
- Tax returns during the administration of a deceased person's estate.
- Tax returns required for stamp duty land tax on the purchase of property.

Our approach to fees
In almost all cases, we will be able to give you a fixed fee quote before we start any work for you. Occasionally this is not possible because it is not clear exactly what will be involved. In that situation, we will give you a clear indication of the likely cost and establish a more defined scope of work as quickly as possible.
