Sport & Tourism Law

At Morton Fraser, we understand the unique challenges which face those involved in the sport and tourism industries.

We pride ourselves on being able to work closely with our clients, and provide them with a wide range of services tailored to meet their specific needs.

As our Sport & Tourism team is cross divisional, we can rely on specialists across many practice areas including: Corporate and Financing, Employment, Real Estate, Litigation, Health & Safety, Licensing, and Immigration.

In addition, having lawyers based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London means we are able to offer our clients expert advice regardless of whether they are based north or south of the border.

Our clients include a range of sports clubs, organisations and businesses throughout the United Kingdom from professional football clubs to hotel chains.

Sports E-bulletin

In order to keep our clients up to date with the latest legal developments in the world of sport, we issue an e-bulletin three times a year.

The latest copy of our e-bulletin can be accessed here. If you wish to be added to our distribution list, please contact marketing@morton-fraser.com or sign up here.

Sports Desk service

Our Sports Desk service supports clubs and organisations.

There is no initial charge for this service, which is available to all clubs and organisations throughout the UK

We understand the difficulties representatives of clubs and organisations face, often on a daily basis, when having to make key decisions without legal advice on the laws governing their sport and/or organisation. As a result, we have developed a service which gives representatives an opportunity to email any legal queries their club might have.

Upon receipt of the e-mail, a specialist from our Sports Law Team will contact the representative to discuss their query and to give an indication of the likely costs involved if detailed legal advice is required.

If your club or organisation has any legal queries or would like more information on our range of services, please email your query to:
