Regular readers of this enews will know that important changes come into force on 25 May when the Data Protection Act 1998 is to be replaced by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and a new Data Protection Act. These changes represent a significant step forward in the modernisation and harmonisation of data protection throughout the European Union (EU).
