Gail and Rajini were presented with the award for founding the Women In Renewable Energy Scotland (WiRES) initiative and for their work in campaigning for gender balance in the renewables industry over the past five years.WiRES supports the professional development of women working in the renewables sector, primarily delivering career mentoring, high profile networking events and site visits for its members throughout Scotland.
