Elspeth and Ken and their teams that they brought with them have already proved to be excellent additions to Morton Fraser, adding to the strong team that we already had. At the time of writing we have 15 partners involved in commercial real estate, all of whom are supported by very capable and experienced teams of lawyers.
The last 12 months has seen our real estate team involved in some of the biggest and most high profile deals that took place in the Scottish market, particularly in the investment, development and retail sectors. We have also been very active in the student accommodation market and the PRS sector generally.

We have made some significant internal partner promotions in the last 12 months. Amy Entwistle was promoted from senior associate to partner in November 2014, and David Stewart and Brian Macfarlane were promoted from senior associates to partners in May of this year. These three excellent recent partner appointments will help drive our business forward, and improve still further the quality of service we are able to offer to our real estate clients. Already Legal 500 has singled out David Stewart as being "efficient, knowledgeable and commercially astute".
