It's not just lawyers though.
I've recently had a really difficult experience where, as a consumer, I have made an arrangement to buy services from someone who has then subsequently gone on to do work for me. Things have not always been clear, and I have ended up paying an amount which was higher than I had wanted to spend. I also found out that there were additional costs being added at the end, again which I didn't have full visibility of until it was too late. The whole experience has left me feeling disappointed, stressed, and if I'm being honest, hijacked.
Maybe it resonates with me more though, because Morton Fraser has just taken a big leap forward in the way it does work for clients. We don't want to be known as a law firm which leaves our clients feeling like this. Quite the opposite, we want to be known as a law firm which is leading the way in delivering complete clarity for a client. This means that we look at what work you want us to do and before we start that work, we agree with you how and when you will be charged. We are undertaking that our costs will always be clear - and that's guaranteed.
Our commitment is not about being the cheapest in the market, it's about making sure you know what you are buying, and us then delivering our advice in a way which is clear.
We want our business to be better, and provide a better experience for our clients. If you have feedback which will help us improve, we'd be happy to receive it.
