Alistair is an independent legal consultant specialising in private client, philanthropy and property law having represented family, individual and corporate clients (both in the UK and internationally).

He adopts a transparent approach to give clients the security of understanding the reality of their transaction with clarity on the progress being made. He has an aptitude for problem solving so that if transactions hit complex challenges he identifies ways and means, of bringing transactions to a successful completion.

Transactions have included acquisition/disposal of commercial properties, portfolio and individual forestry assets, farms, country houses with their estate land, sporting estates and residential acquisitions and disposals. He has been involved in the management of estate assets and several hotel and other leisure and commercial assets, identifying alternative use strategies and the strategic disposal of assets.
