A significant number of Alistair's clients reside outwith Scotland and he has a strong link with clients from Scandinavia. His client base is worldwide and he works regularly with land agents to source appropriate properties for clients. One of Alistair's strengths is that he is a team player and relishes the opportunity to work with land and estate advisers, wealth and tax advisers and, particularly the client to make sure that the client's needs are met. It is trite to say that he goes the extra mile - but he does!

Alistair has a particular interest in access rights in Scotland and is a member of one of the committees of Scotways. This is an area which Alistair is developing and he employs the skills acquired though this qualification when advising families and their businesses.

Transactions have included the acquisition and disposal of several high profile fully let investment properties, shopping centres, logistics depots, portfolio and individual forestry assets, farms, country houses, estates etc. He continues to be involved in advising leisure and tourism clients on their property assets including identifying alternative use strategies and the strategic disposal of assets.
