Bill is Director of Debt and Asset Recovery and works within our highly experienced Commercial Litigation team.   He can provide tailored advice as to the best practice approach to recovery of debt and assets. Where the legal processes available are balanced with the commercial reality of prospects of recovery and cost.

Bill is recognised as being one of the most successful debt recovery and asset recovery practitioners within this practice area in Scotland. He is also regarded as an extremely effective trainer, combining his knowledge of the law with years of experience to ensure his audience appreciate the preventative measures together with the pre-legal, legal and enforcement tools available to them to safeguard their money and assets and, when required, maximise recovery.

That advice may lead to the utilisation of the ultimate sanction of corporate insolvency or bankruptcy in order to secure recovery of your debt or your asset. 

He has considerable experience in the ABL space and his skillset can be put to good use in both the review of internal credit management processes and collectability of ledgers to assist in corporate restructuring and also in the realisation of those ledgers in a corporate insolvency situation. Those services are available to clients, to assist with cashflow, and also lenders and Insolvency Practitioners.
