Catherine is a solicitor in our Corporate banking and asset finance team. She primarily assists John Lunn in advising banks and building societies in regulated lending related areas.
Catherine deals with consumer credit and regulatory issues in relation to products and contracts. She has experience advising on projects implementing legal and regulatory change, for example, the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD), the Image Clearing System (ICS) and the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD 2).
Catherine has been seconded to one of the UK's leading banking groups advising on Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA) lending.
Catherine also assists the wider banking and asset finance team. She has spent time with clients monitoring and reporting on FCA Handbook compliance. She has worked on due diligence for loan and security documentation, renewable energy funding and loan documentation in respect of public sector borrowing.
