Catriona is partner in our Private Client division.

Catriona specialises in estate planning and all aspects of asset protection. She provides advice on inheritance tax planning, giving clear guidance to clients regarding the passing of wealth to future generations.

She has considerable experience in dealing with complex tax planning and estates, including claims for inheritance tax relief for business interests and agricultural property, as well as post death inheritance tax mitigation.

She is also experienced in administering complex and contentious estates, working with our market-leading contentious estates litigation team where required.

Catriona is a full member of STEP (The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners), having gained the Diploma in Trusts and Estates with Distinction. She is a member of the STEP Special Interest Group in Cross-Border Estates as well as the Special Interest Group in Digital Assets.

She previously held the role of Legal Assistant to the Lord Justice-Clerk at the Supreme Courts of Scotland.
