Claire is a member of our commercial litigation and dispute resolution team and specialises in the resolution of construction and engineering disputes.

Having worked at a large City firm for a number of years, she has represented clients in a variety of disputes including complex multi-million pound construction matters in the High Court in England and the Court of Session in Scotland. 

Claire has considerable experience of alternative methods of dispute resolution such as adjudication,  mediation, expert determination and arbitration (both domestic and international).  She believes in the benefits of risk management and regularly advises on dispute avoidance.

With a degree in architecture, she is well placed to advise those involved in all aspects of the construction industry.

Claire also has an Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales Certificate in Insolvency.  

Public Sector expertise

A number of Claire's clients operate within the public sector and she has considerable experience advising on the resolution of high profile construction and engineering disputes within that sector.  

As a result of her experience, Claire understands the particular bespoke requirements of public sector clients when seeking to resolve disputes.
