David is a partner in the firm's Commercial Real Estate division.

He acts for a broad range of property investors and developers, from institutional funds to private property companies.

He has particular experience in trading and managing large, multi-let assets, having bought, managed and sold more than 30 shopping centres during his career, often against tight deadlines.

David is a straight to the point commercial adviser who works with his clients to find pragmatic solutions to legal issues.  He is an experienced operator who understands the pressures that institutional fund managers work under and seeks to manage transactions and tailor advice to alleviate those pressures.

Commercial Real Estate expertise

David is a partner in the firm's Commercial Real Estate division.

He has experience working with both institutional fund managers and propcos on the landlord / investment / development side as well as plc occupiers, where he is part of the team that provides real estate advice to one of the "big four" UK supermarkets. David has experience working with two of the biggest law firms in Scotland and brings that experience to bear with a boutique "hands on" commercial focussed style.

He is dual qualified to practice in Scotland and England/Wales.
