Fergus is a partner in our Commercial Real Estate Sector and head of our Property in Pensions team.

It is one of the country`s largest and leading teams providing tailored commercial real estate advice to a wide range of SIPP and SSAS providers from both within and outwith the United Kingdom

He currently sits on the Law Society of Scotland AML Advisory Panel. Fergus has also recently been the Chairman of the Real Estate Practice Group of the international legal network Law Europe International. 

Commercial Real Estate expertise

The team acts in the complete range of transactions for pension providers from purchases,sales,leasing,funding and management matters to complex syndicated and joint structure transactions.

In addition, Fergus specialises in anti money laundering and related regulatory matters. He has spoken at and Chaired Law Society of Scotland conferences, training events (including those for other legal firms) and other seminars on these subjects and was a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s working team on the review of the Professional Practice Rules regarding money laundering in 2011.
