Judith is a solicitor in our Litigation Division, one of the largest and most experienced litigation teams in Scotland.


Based in our Edinburgh office, the focus of Judith's work is property litigation and planning.

She advises on a wide range of disputes, including landlord/tenant and boundary issues. She also advises on interpretation of title conditions and access rights.

Judith acts for a wide range of public and private sector clients. She regularly acts in large scale, high value and high profile projects including public local inquiries.

Judith has experience of conducting property litigation in the Sheriff Courts,the Court of Session, the Lands Tribunal for Scotland and at Public Local Inquiries.

Judith is also a Notary Public.

Judith advises on a wide range of real estate disputes.

Commercial Real Estate expertise

Judith regularly advises commercial landlords and tenants in connection with property litigation. This includes dilapidation disputes and enforcing lease provisions in relation to rental arrears.

Public Sector expertise

Judith has experience in acting on behalf of government clients, local authorities, planning authorities and roads authorities in planning and property disputes at the Court of Session, Lands Tribunal for Scotland and at Public Local Inquiries

Individuals and Families expertise

Judith advises private clients in connection with planning and property disputes at the Sheriff Court, Court of Session and Lands Tribunal Scotland. She has advised on boundary disputes including applications for rectification of title, interpretation of title conditions and access rights. She is regularly instructed by legal expenses insurers to act on behalf of private clients.
