Having been seconded to Edinburgh Research and Innovation, the Roslin Institute and Historic Environment Scotland, Julie has extensive in house experience which is invaluable to her public sector clients.
Julie is actively involved with mentoring entrepreneurs, and particularly enjoys engaging with life science companies where she finds her research background invaluable. Julie is an Enterprise Partner at Strathclyde University.
With her wealth of experience, Julie provides guidance on GDPR, advises clients (investors and companies) with regard to equity investments and ensures her clients receive expert advice with regard to protecting and commercialising their intellectual property.
I followed Julie Nixon to Morton Fraser from another practice as she has great skills, a background in relevant science, and most importantly can find solutions that meet NeemCo's aims, whilst at the same time being realistic about the needs of other parties. Julie has been pro-active in her work with us, most recently relating to Assignation of IP.
