Laura is an Associate in our Family Law Team in Glasgow.
She has experience in all types of family law including financial provision on divorce, cohabitation matters and child related issues. Laura provides advice and guidance for a broad range of family law matters including: separation and financial provision on divorce, disputes about the residence of children and contact with children, financial support (or aliment) for children and spouses, adoption including step-parent adoption, cohabitation claims on separation or death and guardianships.
Laura is a Notary Public. She holds an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Strathclyde. She is also a committee member of the Law Society of Scotland's Access to Justice Committee.
Public Sector expertise
Laura has dealt with many permanence cases, some of which have gone to a full evidential hearing and have been conducted by her without the assistance of counsel. Laura will undertake all work necessary in the preparation, running and conduct of Permanence Orders and Permanence Orders with Authority to Adopt cases.
