She advises clients on a wide range of issues which can arise on separation, including financial provision and child care arrangements. Trudy also has considerable experience in drafting pre-nuptial or post nuptial agreements as well as cohabitation agreements. Trudy graduated from The University of Aberdeen with an LLB (Hons) before going on to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Trudy has specialised in family law since qualifying in 2015. She joined Morton Fraser as a Senior Solicitor in January 2019. Trudy is a Notary Public and a member of the Family Law Association.
Trudy establishes what is important to every client at the outset and has regard to those individual objectives throughout the case.
She is approachable and practical in terms of her style, always trying to negotiate settlements on behalf of her clients where possible. She is however well versed in court work should that be required, having appeared in Sheriff Courts across Scotland.
