We have a large and experienced team dealing with all aspects of commercial and corporate litigation in Scotland. Our commercial litigators act for businesses, the public sector and private individuals and regularly appear in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts. The team has a wealth of experience and routinely handles commercial contract disputes, insolvency and restructuring litigation including challengeable transactions and contested Schemes of Arrangement, company and corporate disputes such as shareholder disputes and warranty claims, unfair prejudice petitions, insurance and financial services disputes, partnership disputes and actions involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Benefits we bring to you

Our commercial litigation team provides an early case assessment so that you know right at the outset whether you have a good case or not. Our advice is clear, commercial and practical. This clarity of advice is essential so that you can make the best decision as to whether to litigate or seek to resolve your dispute in another way such as by mediation.

Our approach to fees

Litigation can be expensive and we ensure that you get value for money in any dispute. We offer a variety of funding options and deal with disputes on hourly rates, fixed rates, capped rates, speculatively or on a success fee basis depending on the nature of the dispute. We tailor our fees to the advice we are being asked to provide and are always clear as to what you will spend on resolving your dispute.
