Our Restructuring and Insolvency team has unrivalled strength and depth of expertise in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency in Scotland - both contentious and transactional.

Our partner group has decades of experience in this sector and our knowledge of and activity in restructuring and insolvency issues in Scotland extends from owner managed and entrepreneur led businesses to international business groups with Scottish companies in their portfolio.

Benefits we bring to your business

Our demonstrable technical skills together with our collegiate approach (working with our instructing agents to meet tight deadlines and to cost) mean that we are regularly instructed by national and international law firms across the UK to work on cross jurisdictional assignments .We provide assistance across all aspects of Scots Law in any restructuring or insolvency matter, ensuring that the teams with whom we work on cross-border assignments have straightforward and clear reporting lines and our work is integrated with the whole transaction and delivered in the format and manner most suitable to you and your client. Our approach is flexible and agile.

We will agree with you at the outset of an assignment not just our role in any transaction but also the 'how, when and at what cost' so that our services complement and, indeed enhance, the transaction experience for you and your clients. We pride ourselves on clear communication at all times and couple that clarity with an ability to react quickly and effectively to any changing circumstances, ensuring a seamless and efficient service, whatever happens.
