Alumni

The launch pad for success in a variety of careers.

Many of the people who work here at Morton Fraser stay with us for all or large parts of their careers but we recognise that, for some, we have just provided a building block in their career.

We are delighted to have some notable alumni working in other parts of the legal community, including two Senators of the College of Justice, as in-house counsel with companies of all sizes, in the public sector, whether local or national Government and in the Scottish Law Commission but we are also equally proud of our alumni who have gone on to careers in other fields. We like to think that time spent at Morton Fraser will provide a launch pad for success in a variety of careers.

The Morton Fraser community

Many people who have worked at Morton Fraser stay in touch with us after they leave and we have a LinkedIn Group to keep alumni up to date with our news and allow them to keep us up to date with theirs. If you have worked at Morton Fraser at any point in your career and would like to join our LinkedIn Group, please contact John Lunn.

The Morton Fraser talent pool

We recognise that our alumni group represents a great pool of talent, both for us and for our clients. From time to time, we have clients who need additional lawyers for a project, maternity cover or just to get through a busy period and they look to us to resource this. We are also interested in hearing from alumni who would like to work on an ad hoc basis providing remote support to our teams as and when required.

If you are a former Morton Fraser employee not currently in full time employment, and are interested in working on an ad hoc basis please contact Martin Glover, our HR Director for an initial chat. If you are a client and interested in tapping in to our alumni talent pool, please also contact Martin.
