Amy is a Solicitor in the Family Law team. 

Amy advises on a wide range of family law matters including separation and divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and child-related matters (including contact and residence). Amy also has experience in Adults with Incapacity matters (including financial and welfare guardianship and intervention orders). Amy regularly appears in the Sheriff Court and has instructed counsel in complex Court of Session matters.   

Amy has a particular interest in public law family issues, especially welfare and care arrangements for individuals who lack capacity to make the decision themselves, and the financial aspect arising on divorce. Amy has a reassuring and calm demeanour and provides her clients with pragmatic advice in a sensitive manner. 

Amy graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences in 2018. She went on to study the Accelerated LLB at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2020. She then completed the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow in March 2021.
