Carryl is a Partner and is the head of our highly rated Private Client Division.

Carryl is a private client lawyer specialising in estate planning and wealth management for individuals, preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney, advising on trust and winding up of estates and providing effective advice on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.

Carryl works closely with her clients in order to understand their priorities and objectives at various stages of their lives. Through the development of strong relationships with her clients, she is able to provide valuable insight and deliver practical and straightforward solutions at extremely difficult times of their lives.

Carryl is a lawyer who works with clients at all stages of their lives. She works closely with our clients to fully understand their family and financial circumstances as well as their objectives,  to help them properly plan for the future.

Carryl also provides clear and effective advice on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax to ensure our clients are aware of how this is likely to affect them and to help them plan accordingly.

As well as working with clients who live in the UK, Carryl regularly advises international clients who have a connection to Scotland (whether due to their domicile status, their family situation or because of where their assets are located.)  Carryl has significant experience in advising international clients to ensure that appropriate planning is in place in the relevant jurisdictions and to ensure that clients understand the UK tax and succession implications of their particular arrangements.
