Scotland's third sector is vibrant, exciting and makes a significant contribution to Scotland's communities and to its economy. Charities and the voluntary sector play a key role in supporting Scotland's people and causes, and Scotland is said to lead the world when it comes to our approach to social enterprise.

How we can help you

The experts in our Charities Team can help you achieve your goals, whether by setting up a charity, advising on governance matters, advice on fundraising and policies or on Scottish charity law and regulation. We can assist with charity re-organisations and help to secure borrowing or investment. We have wide experience of joint working arrangements and merger of charities.

Charity Health Check Service: We offer a tailored charity review service to assess current governance matters, as well as your organisation's processes and procedures. This may identify any gaps which the trustees may wish to review (either internally or externally). However, the main aim of the review will be to suggest best practice initiatives to ensure that the charity is meeting its potential and the trustees are fully aware of, and are fulfilling, their duties.
