How we can help you
Even what may seem like a very small issue can create red tape and delays for an application, leaving you or your family members in limbo while the situation is resolved. Nearly all visa applications have strict rules relating to the evidence which must be submitted, and in order to identify these you need to consider different sections of the immigration rules and multiple guidance documents. While the Home Office have tried to 'simplify' the immigration rules, the process remains as complicated as ever.
This service consists of a single, 45 minute, meeting with one of our specialist immigration solicitors. Our team are all immigration experts, dealing with every aspect of the immigration rules so you can be assured you will be speaking to someone with practical experience of your type of application.
We will discuss your circumstances and identify the best visa option for you, how you can meet the requirements of the rules, and your long term prospects for remaining in the UK.
The meeting can take place in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office, or via our secure video link facility if you cannot travel to our office.
At the meeting we will answer any questions you have and highlight the practical issues you need to consider to make a successful visa application.
After your meeting, we will send you a detailed report tailored to your situation. You can expect this to include:
- Confirmation of our recommended course of action
- A summary of the requirements you will need to meet
- Practical tips on making a successful application
- Estimated timescales
- How much it will cost
- A guide to your next steps in the process
Many of our clients have used this service, giving them clarity and confidence to make a successful visa application themselves. However, we can also offer additional support with the application process and we always provide fixed fee packages for you to choose from.
Our fees for this service are:
- £350+ VAT for a meeting with a senior solicitor or associate
- £500 + VAT for a meeting with our partner (who is also an accredited as a specialist by the Law Society of Scotland)
